In my life, I haven't yet met a New Orleans person I didn't like (and I've met quite a few), people from out there seem to have heart, and are just good people.
Though this time is indeed tough, hang in there, stay strong, and don't let things get you down. When times get tough for me, I try to regard it as a story I'll one day tell my grandkids, until the moment passes, and it does. That manner of regard hasn't let me down yet.
If the people I've met are any indication, New Orleans will be back, and better than ever. It's just a matter of time.
Take good care,
and stay safe.
